The KY K9 Fund supports the purchase, training, equipment, care, and ongoing maintenance of K9s serving in law enforcement, public safety, and the criminal justice system. By providing resources for both active-duty and retired K9s, the fund helps ensure these vital programs remain strong, regardless of government budget challenges, while supporting the dogs and handlers who protect and serve their communities. Beneficiaries include police K9s, bomb detection K9s, electronic device detection K9s, search and rescue teams, courthouse facility K9s, and the communities they serve.
