Horizon Community Foundation Invests $116,300 in Eight High-Impact Programs Across Northern Kentucky
COVINGTON, KY — Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Community Impact Fund grants, totaling $116,300, invested in eight local nonprofits leading innovative, results-driven initiatives across the region.
These investments reflect Horizon’s commitment to advancing solutions that address the most pressing needs in Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties. This year’s funding focuses on five key areas: education, health, workforce readiness, conservation, and the arts.
“These grants are more than dollars, they’re fuel for ideas that work,” said Nancy Grayson, President and CEO of Horizon Community Foundation. “We’re honored to support local organizations that are not only doing good work, but doing it in measurable, community-centered ways.”
The 2025 Community Impact Fund grant recipients are:
- Baker Hunt Arts and Cultural Center – $10,000 for Arts Outreach
- Beech Acres Parenting Center – $20,000 for The Character Effect in Erlanger/Elsmere Schools
- Center for Great Neighborhoods – $15,000 for Covington Sparks
- Enzweiler Building Institute – $15,000 for Scholarships
- Faith Community Pharmacy – $15,000 for Prescription Medication Program
- FIESTA – $15,000 for Education and Outreach Programs
- Reset Ministries – $6,300 for TANK Life Line
- The Boone Conservancy – $20,000 for Ohio River Conservation Cultural Resource Preservation and Site Planning
Grants were selected by a diverse committee of Northern Kentucky residents and leaders who reviewed proposals for innovation, clarity of impact, and potential to leverage other community resources.
“These organizations are addressing complex challenges with bold, thoughtful solutions,” said Kit Andrews, Chair of the Grant Making committee. “The Community Impact Fund is about collective power, bringing people together to fund what works for our community.”
The Community Impact Fund is fueled by local donors who want their dollars to stay close to home, creating immediate impact and long-term transformation.
